Science, Community, Shared Prosperity
Our Impact
Every product we create carries a responsibility — to the communities who share their knowledge, the ecosystems we draw from, and the future generations who will inherit them.
Fair Returns for
Indigenous Communities
BioVerde operates under the Sarawak Biodiversity Council's formal Access & Benefit Sharing (ABS) framework — ensuring that indigenous communities who share their traditional knowledge and biological resources receive fair, transparent, and accountable returns.
This framework was developed with support from the UNDP/GEF Mainstreaming Biodiversity programme (2014–2018) and further strengthened through TERAJU support in 2021. Today, it is reinforced by blockchain-enabled traceability that provides a permanent, auditable record of benefit sharing.
