Key responsibilities

• Scientific Asset Validation: Drive the transition of bio-based assets from the laboratory (R&D) to validation and pilot programmes, ensuring scientific integrity is maintained throughout.
• IP & Technology Transfer: Support the end-to-end management of BVT’s intellectual property portfolio, including documentation, filing coordination, and the execution of licensing strategies.
• Regulatory Navigation: Lead the coordination of technical dossiers for regulatory filings (e.g. Food, Biotech, Nutraceutical) to ensure products meet specific bio-safety and industrial standards.
• Impact & ESG Frameworks: Implement global sustainability certifications (e.g. B Corp, Fairtrade) and develop technical metrics to measure the Social Return on Investment (SROI) of our bio-innovations.
• Scientific-Commercial Synthesis: Act as the primary technical liaison between SBC researchers and BVT’s production teams to ensure scientific specifications are accurately translated into commercial outputs.

What we're looking for

• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Bioeconomy, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 2–4 years (Executive) or 4–7+ years (Senior Executive) in a relevant role.
• Technical Compliance: Experience or exposure to legal compliance, contract coordination, or technology licensing is strongly preferred.
• DNA: A proactive professional capable of translating complex scientific data into technical business cases and ethical impact reports.

You will be the guardian of BVT’s scientific value. By managing the technical and regulatory journey of Sarawak’s biodiversity, you ensure our innovations are scientifically sound, legally protected, and ethically grounded before they reach the market.

Key responsibilities

• Project Delivery: Support the day-to-day implementation of bioeconomy projects, including product development pilots and site-specific initiatives at the SBP.
• KPI Tracking: Maintain rigorous project trackers and documentation to ensure milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met with precision.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners, including government agencies, research institutions, and industry stakeholders.
• Operational Reporting: Prepare detailed progress updates and technical reports for Management, proactively identifying risks or bottlenecks before they impact project timelines.
• Infrastructure Support: Provide oversight for projects involving equipment installation, facility readiness, and industrial infrastructure management.

What we're looking for

• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Bioeconomy, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or an Engineering field (Bioprocessing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial).
• Experience: 2–4 years (Executive) or 4–7+ years (Senior Executive) in a relevant role.
• Skills: Exceptional organisational skills and a fundamental understanding of project management documentation, reporting, and stakeholder management.
• Agility: A proactive team player who is adaptable and capable of managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

You will be the ‘boots on the ground’ building BVT’s flagship projects. This role offers unique exposure to the entire value chain, from building industrial infrastructure to launching the bio-innovations that will define Sarawak’s future economy.

Key responsibilities

• Production & Scale-up Oversight: Manage the end-to-end production journey for existing and new product lines. Oversee manufacturing schedules and technical workstreams to ensure consistent output, quality control, and adherence to BVT’s cost standards.
• Product Presentation & Packaging: Lead the development and continuous improvement of product packaging and labelling. Ensure all physical touchpoints are compliant, durable, and commercially attractive for diverse target markets.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): Orchestrate the transition of products from pilot success to full-scale commercial reality. Lead the NPI process by aligning technical capabilities with BVT’s strategic sales targets.
• Product Lifecycle Optimisation: Continuously evaluate product performance on the shelf. Identify and implement improvements—from packaging upgrades to reformulation—based on customer feedback and competitive trends.
• Market Readiness & Supply Chain: Coordinate material availability and stock balances. Manage logistics and inventory planning to ensure a seamless supply chain and consistent fulfilment of sales demand.
• Revenue Performance Analytics: Analyse sales performance and product profitability to support decisions on value-engineering and future product iterations.

What we're looking for

• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–4 years (Executive) or 4–7+ years (Senior Executive) in a relevant role.
• Technical Management: Proven ability to manage technical vendors and complex manufacturing workstreams while maintaining strict quality and cost oversight.
• Commercial Design Sense: An eye for packaging and labelling excellence, with an understanding of how physical product attributes drive consumer choice.
• Analytical Drive: A proactive ability to translate market insights into revenue-generating product-market fit strategies.
